KMD was established in 1980 in Kocaeli İzmit Körfez industrial site. It started its activities with the production of galvanized fuel tanks suitable for the conditions and needs of the day. After continuing its activities at this address until 2005, it moved to its new facility consisting of 9000m2 open and 2500m2 closed area in Kartepe OSB and increased its capacity 10 times.
