Rubber Extrusion Technology was founded in 2002 by Mr. Enver Ceylan in Istanbul, Turkey.K.E.T. started its business life to provide research and development and consultancy to the companies which produce rubber and plastic edge protectors and sealing profiles.K.E.T. provided research and development support to many of the rubber and plastic companies between 2002 and 2007. K.E.T. was moved to Duzce, Turkey in 2007.Using experience gained in the sealing industry, in an attempt to eliminate disadvantages of metal-insert sealing profiles in the industry, K.E.T. developed an innovative sealing profile support material made from polyoxymethylene (POM), as a result of one year research and development efforts.K.E.T. has brought an innovative product to the sealing profile industry by covering this POM substrate with polyvinyl chloride (PVC), Thermoplastic Elastomers (TPE) and Ethylene Propylene (EPDM).
