Fimar Mermer Maden A.Ş. şirketi Mehmet EMMİOĞLU, İbrahim EMMİOĞLU ve Ahmet EMMİOĞLU (Merhum) kardeşler tarafından 1986 yılında Sivas’ta kurulmuştur. İlk olarak atölyecilik sistemi ile başlayan serüven; daha sonraki yıllarda yapılan girişimlerle, atölyecilik sisteminden fabrikalaşma ve ocak işletmeciliği sistemine taşınmıştır. İlk fabrika sistemine geçiş Sivas Mermer Fabrikasının kurulmasıyla sağlanmıştır. Bunu takip eden ocak işletmeciliği girişimi Amasya ilinde başlamış ve burada çıkan yüksek niteliklik olması Fimar’ın Türkiye ve yurtdışı pazarında hızla büyümesine katkı sağlamıştır. Oluşan bu pazardaki payını büyütmeyi hedefleyen Fimar daha sonra Amasya’da ve Türkiye genelinde ilkler arasına giren Fimar, Amasya Mermer fabrikasını kurmuştur. Pazardaki yelpazesini genişletmek için yeni sahalar arayışı sonucunda Türkiye ve yurtdışı pazarlarlarında boy gösteren Fimar, Karaman ilinde çıkan Diana Rosa ve Mersin ili Erdemli ilçesinde bulunan Cremera taşını gün yüzüne çıkartmıştır.
