OUR FAMILY FRUIT: FIGSOur relationship with figs as a grower started with our father’s insight and decision to grow fig trees in our family’s land in Bursa, 30 years ago. By that time we were involved with our grandparents’ gold and precious stones business. We would never think of that the gold we were weighing in grams would turn out to be the fruit of soil and sun which is as precious as gold. Today we are grateful to our father Mr. İhsan Gür who planted by his own hands young fig trees in our garden and introduced us with figs: A sacred and mythological fruit which has taken place in history pages, and hosted dinner tables of thrones.Today our land reached to 300 acres and we have all the same variety of black fig trees in different ages.
