Efe ve zeybek kültüründe Defne ağacına “teknel” denilirdi. Teknel Tarım firmasının ismi bu kültürün bir yansıması olarak belirlenmiştir. Defne ağacı ölümün sembolü olduğu kadar, bedeli ölüm olsa da vefakarlığında sembolüdür. Bu bağlamda firmamız müşterileri ile vefakar ilişkiler kurmayı ilke edinmektedir.
