Tamburlu taşlar içinde tamburlu dolomit yoğunlukla bahçe düzenlemesi ve peyzaj uygulamalarında yapısal peyzaj alanında sıklıkla tercih edilen bir doğaltaş ürünüdür. Dolomit taşının konkosörlerde kırıldıktan sonra ebatlarına ayrılarak tambur kazanına atılarak su içerisinde döndürülerek birbirilerine sürtünerek yuvarlatılma işlemidir. Genel olarak big bag çuvallarda ambalajlanan tamburlu dolomit kimi talepler doğrultusunda 20 kg lik veya 25 kg lik şeffaf poşetlere de doldurulmak suretiyle ambalajlanabilmektedir. Beyaz yapısı sebebiyle dökme olarak sevkiyat yapılması tercih edilmez.
