Gelincik Cosmetics was established in 1981 by Ünal Görgülü who is a chemical engineer who saw the need and market for quality hair and cleaning products in Turkey. Gelincik was started with the initial idea of producing high quality shampoo and hair conditioner. As the company grew and gained recognition in the southeastern Turkey, by the 1990s, the product line was increased by adding cleaning products and additional hair care products like hair gel. Beginning in 1993 the Gelincik Company started to export to middle east countries utilizing it's experience and reputation for quality in the domestic Turkish market to grow into the export market. Due to the expansion and growth into export markets, the company expanded into an 800 Square Meter indoor area in the year 2000 to meet the increased demand. At the time with the increased production capacity and larger factory floor, production was increased and the company evolved into a more formal corporate management structure. Our goal is to increase capacity and production while maintaining and improving our quality and procedures in order to maintain our leadership and reputations as a quality producer. We currently manufacture both under our brand name "Gelincik" and also produce under our customer brand names on demand. ÖZTEKIN TEKSTIL

We, as Oztekin Textile, produce the fur made up of 100% lamb wool and with the same features completely as natural lamb wool at our Factory in Tuzla. Our extremely healthy product is used in manufacture of shoes, rugs, home textiles and clothing sectors. We serve our customers with rapid production in quality and with unlimited color options and a capacity of 1.5 million square meters in year. They have been made up of 100% lamb wool in layers of 1, 5 m x 1 m (length x width). They have same features as lamb wool. They are organic and extremely healthy and do not contain any chemical substances. There are unlimited color options. It is nonwettable. That rate is 1% in synthetic products. Thus, it keeps dry and warm when it is used as lining in the winter shoes and cloths. It is lighter and scentless in comparison with natural lamb skin. The cutting efficiency is 35% higher since there is no baldness and holes in this product. It has standard production homogenous surface. Our product can be cleaned successfully in dry-cleaning. It can be wiped but cannot be washed.
